About Us
EFISD is a public school district based in the community of Elysian Fields, Texas. In addition to the community of Elysian Fields, the district also serves the community of DeBerry as well as rural areas in southeastern Harrison County and northeastern Panola County.
EFISD received an "A" grade from the Texas Education Agency as of the 2021-2022 school year, scoring 92 out of a possible 100 overall school rating. Shout-out to Mrs. Melinda Dillon, our Staff of the Month at EFMS! She is a phenomenal leader for the 8th Grade team, and she is always ahead of the game when it comes to all things middle school. Her dedication, organization, and support make a huge difference—not just for students, but for the entire team.

EFMS Nurse Tori Stoute trained and certified 18 students with the "Stop The Bleed" program.
Learning to "stop the bleed" is a lifesaving skill! The number one cause of preventable death after injury is loss of blood. With three quick actions, a person can be trained to to save a life.
